let me introduce myself...

So I think now would be a good time to introduce mi famila and myself to all you bloggers (i hope are reading and soon following) ;)


well...there's me
adrienne 25 year old sahm crafty gal,going back to school soon to major in elementary education (i want to be a kindergarten teacher<3


then there's kevin my hubby bear ( i like this scrap book page picture i made for him so i'll use it) <3 now you can see some of my scrapping too


kevin is a very calm loving peaceful soul.he works a the hospital all crazy hours so i can stay home with our girlies!!
he likes to play wow (world of warcraft) and the guitar


next theres zoe our fun loving three (almost 4 year old) she is very funny and extremely smart a true blessing from God


and last but not least there's amelie (yes she was named after the movie) amelie is the sweetest little thing ever she is 19 months old and we just adore her <3

ten things i love tuesdays!!

on my other old blog i had a cute little thing going called "10 things i love tuesdays" most of the time i'll post a picture i've taken of things i like during the week or i'll have a link to a web site,product,etc. that has grabbed my attention :) so here it goes....


1. colorful straws!!
we have these straws sitting on our dinner table (instead of our usual vase of flowers from the garden) i think they add a fun,happy touch :) (the straw picture was taken by me :)

2. finding my old play school sesame street record player at my moms house
now zoe and amelie can play with one of my fave child hood toys :)

3. flower art.
i tool this picture in vegas how cute is this little guy?! there were TONS of great photo ops in this beautiful indoor flower garden <3


4. BALLOONS!!!! zoe's music class had a party a few months back and a; the kiddies got balloons (aren't the y pretty!?)


5.hello kitty aluminum thermos!!!! I WANT one of these so bad!!!!


6.carnival type games we took zoe to a birthday party and we played skee ball so much fun :)



7.CANDY!!!!
we loooove m & ms in our house....aren't they pretty?!



8. art supplies :) we like these melissa and doug crayons around here lately they last awhile and dont break easily <3


9.CUTIES ORANGES!! MMMMMMM what a cute sweet little snack :) (i took this picture a few months ago but we still always have a bag in the fridge<3



10.tea cups ...i left the room one day and came back to find the girls had stacked their hello kitty tea cups like this ...so cute <3



well that's my ten things for this tuesday! i hope you enjoyed!! i'm really happy i got to use a lot of my own pictures for this time too!!

pretty paper makes me smile!!!

How lovely would it b to spend the day catching up on scrap booking pages or making paper crafts....these pretty papers may just have to wait til things slow down around here...

When I was looking at the Sunday paper yesterday I noticed that Hobby Lobby has paper three for $1....eeeep!! ..Is it possible to have a pretty paper addiction?!?!? I have very little time to catch up on scrapping...even more pictures yet too be developed and yet I still want MORE paper?!? le sigh...

international food love.

a few weeks ago we checked out a book at the library by Rosemary Wells called "YOKO"

This book was the very sweet tale of a little girl (yoko) who each day brought a lunch of sushi to school. The other kids teased her about this...I won't give away all of the book incase you want to read it with your child, it is a very cute story, with adorable sushi pictures.

The cute pictures and Zoe and Amelie's love of the story prompted me to create them their own sushi to play with. Although they have not really liked the felt food I have made them in the past, they LOVED the felt sushi!!


They played with it for at least an hour (which in 3 year old and 19 month old time is well...a long time) Zoe even set up a little sushi restaurant for her groovy girl dolls! (how cute is that?!)



I hope everyone gets to check this book out or purchase it ! It was truly a delight to read and a great creativity booster for myself and the girls alike!!

new things....

hello world! my name is adrienne! i am a 25 year old stay at home,who will be returning to college in the fall to pursue a degree in elementary education. I am very much the crafty lady, which is what inspired me to start this blog. I think that the love of art starts very young.I love doing art projects with my girls, finding neat new art products and books for us to use as a family(yes my husband has a deep love of art as well:) In this new blog I hope to share my love of children's art with anyone willing to listen!
